On New York City Hip-Hop icon Biggie Smalls’ birthday, May 21st, steps away from 34th street and Fashion Avenue, two native New Yorkers birthed the idea of Ying & Kang. Having met working on the radio, while students at Syracuse University, the two multi-cultural women who’s love for music and fashion became instant best friends.

Ying Hernandez, also known as “Raven the Blazin Eurasian” and Yvette Lee Kang!! have been artists since childhood. They have been involved in the entertainment and fashion worlds for two decades and they are excited to share their collaborative creations with the world!

The manner in which the two hand-select, hand-make and create their jewelry is rooted in positive intentions and hopes for elevation and empowerment for their wearer. Ying & Kang only select gemstones that “speak” to their inner spirit, which means that they are meticulous in their selections.
